Between 9th June 2013 - 16th June 2013, I visited the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia. The main reason was to visit family & friends but I did manage a fair bit of radio.
Activated a handful of summits as part of SOTA, and activated some National & Conservation Parks as part of the VK5 National & Conservation Parks Award.
Just used QRP 5 watts from my Yaesu FT-817nd and 40m/20m linked dipole.

- 10 x Summit on the Air (SOTA) summits activated.
- 1 x National Park activated.
- 7 x Conservation Parks activated.
- Total of 369 QSO's.
- 11 x summit to summit QSO's.
- 20 x SOTA QSO's whilst I was operating portable from VK5 Conservation Parks/National Park.
- 5 x QSO's with stations who were operating portable in VK5 Conservation Parks
- Some DX worked: Belgium, Solomon Islands, England, New Zealand, French Polynesia, Hawaii, Italy, & USA
