Australian General Electric Ltd (AGE) was owned jointly by General Electric (USA) and Associated Electrical Industries (UK).
In the early days of AGE, radio sets sold by the company were constructed by AWA and they carried the label 'Bandmaster'. In latter years sets from AGE were sold as 'Hotpoint'.
The company was later known as Australian Electrical Industries.
