Fox hunt direction finding exercise.
Many thanks to David and Rick for the "fox", and Det and Hemi for hosting us.
We welcomed Stef and David as visitors, and we all encouraged them to join us when they are "in town".

We began by providing instructions on the basics of Amateur Radio direction finding and how to optimise our tape measure Yagis. Peter showed his direction-finding Loop. We then had practice around Det's yard, and after a cuppa, Det hid the fox in Drover's Rest, a reserve over the road.
Stef, with prior experience, found it first.
All in all, it was a great experience, and everyone learned a great deal.
We discussed our next project, which may be an attenuation circuit for our antennas.
