WRMI, Radio Miami International, is a commercial international shortwave radio station with studios in Miami, Florida and studios and transmitters in Okeechobee, Florida, broadcasting to listeners worldwide.  (WRMI 2023)

WRMI was founded by Jeff White in 989 and Kiko Espinosa.  The station commenced broadcasting in 1989 via other shortwave facilities.  White and Espinosa then applied for a licence from the US Federal Communications Commission, which allowed them to put their own station on air from Miami, Florida.  WRMI commenced broadcasting in June 1994.  (WRMI 2023)

In December 2013, WRMI purchased the former WYFR Family Radio shortwave station in Okeechobee, Florida.  WRMI moved all of their transmissions to the new location at Okeechobee.  (WRMI 2023)
