WARBURTO LIGHT.
Warburto Point is a headland about 12 kilometres south west of the town of Wallaroo, in South Australia.
Since 1995, it has been the site of a navigation aid in the form of a light tower which was commissioned to replace the lighthouse on Tiparra Reef.
In 2019 I attempted to have this added to the International Lighthouse & lightship Weekend (ILLW) list of lighthouses. Unfortunately it was turned down as it "does not meet the guidelines as a lighthouse for our purposes".
I've posted this info in the event that anybody else decides to activate this light for the ILLW.
