On 11th November 1918 WW1 ended with the signing of the Armistice, an agreement to stop fighting it was signed between France, Britain, and Germany, bringing four years of fighting in the First World War to an end. It was on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month 1918.
Between the 3rd November 2018 and the 11th November 2018, a number of special event calls were on air in Australia to commemorate the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice.
On the 3rd and 4th November 2018, I operated from home and out in the field using the call of VI5LWF.
I activated the Finniss Conservation Park VKFF-1030 and the Totness Recreation Park VKFF-1754.
I made a total of 419 QSOs on 10, 15, 20, 40, & 80m SSB. I worked a total of 49 different DXCC entities.
