CONTESTS.
One of my interests with amateur radio is Contesting. I am by no means an expert, but I am polishing up on my contesting skills.
My first ever Contest was the Jock White Memorial Field Day Contest in New Zealand. This was whilst I had the Foundation licence.
Since then I have competed in a number of the big international DX contests including the CQ WW WPX, CQ WW, ARRL 10m, & Oceania DX Contest.
I must admit that I lack the stamina to regularly compete in the big 48 hour contests, and I certainly take my hat off to those that do.
