HuMPS excluding Marilyns (HUMPS)

HEMA is the acronym for HuMPs Excluding Marilyns Award. A HuMP is a summit which has at least 100 metres of prominence. A Marilyn is a summit which has 150 metres of prominence.  The HEMA program commenced in the British Isles.  
HEMA had been going since 2012 and the start was very favourable in that initial year with 447 activations and 5104 QSOs registered on the system.

HEMA in VK5.

John VK5HAA is the VK5 HEMA Manager.
As of July 2021 there were a total of 44 active HEMA summits in VK5.  More are planned to be added to the program.

HEMA in other Australian States/Territories.

HEMA is also active in Australia in VK1, VK3, and VK6.
