Marnix OP7M

During my 2014 trip to Europe, I was fortunate enough to stay with Marnix, his wife Martine, and son Goan, near Ghent in northern Belgium.  It was an absolute pleasure to spend time with them.

Also whilst in Europe, I spent quite a bit of time with Eddy ON6ZV and his wife Cariine.  Eddy is a police office like me, so we had a lot in common.  He is best mates with Marnix OP7M.

In December 2012, I was very lucky to meet Tom, OZ1AA, who had been travelling the world on his bicycle.  I had dinner with Tom and at the home QTH of Sasi, VK5SN.

I have stayed with Dave, VK3VCE, and his family at his QTH near Echuca, and he has also stayed at my house.  

​He was instrumental in helping me put up my tower.

Dave has a great set up at his house with a TET 3 element yagi on top of a 70 foot tower. 

Miles, VK6MAB, WESTERN AUSTRALIA

I was lucky enough to meet Miles and have a few beers with him during a visit to Adelaide by Miles in 2012.
Miles is a keen DXer and uses the same antenna as me, a Hy Gain Th3jrs 3 el yagi.
