An interesting website is en-au.topographic-map.com.  This site allows you to explore topographic maps by place type or by geographical area.  Unfortunately the map area is very small and you cannot expand to full page.  However it is worth a look.

Bonzle has a terrain option which provides a topographic profile in north-south, west-east, and NW/SE, plus NE/SW diagonal slices.

Peakery

Peakery is an interesting website which features (as of 22nd Jan 2017) 2230 peaks from around the globe.  You can find peaks by browsing lists, maps, and photos.

You can use Peakery to enhance your next SOTA activation, with photos, trip reports, stats, 3D fly arounds, and maps.
