Squid poles.

I generally use a 7 metre telescopic squid pole to get my antenna up in the air.  I purchase my squid poles from Haverfords in Sydney.

Bothy bag.

What is a bothy bag?

It is an emergency shelter which is simple and easy to erect to protect you from the elements of the weather.

I purchased my bothy bag in August 2013 from ebay.  It is a Highlander Mountain Leaders 2-3 man bothy bag and cost me $32.25.

Octopus straps.

Clock.

A clock with accurate time is essential.  Remember, always use UTC time.  Not local time.
