Below are some photos and some brief info from the day.
The day kicked off at 7.30 a.m. with breakfast - bacon and egg sandwiches and hot coffee.
At 8.30 a.m. (SA time) Ron VK5MRE ran the BRL 40m Net from Overland Corner.
The Overland Corner Hotel is a great venue, with a beautiful lawned area alongside of the hotel.
Steve VK5SFA was in attendance and would later give a presentation on his loop antennas.
He was in high demand with many a question.

The BRL Gathering is a casual social day, and a terrific event to catch up with fellow amateurs who travel from across Australia to attend.
Mid morning, Steve VK5SFA delivered a very interesting presentation on loop antennas. In 2018 Steve won the ARRL antenna contest. Congratulations Steve.
Grant VK5GR then delivered a presentation on his involvement in the Islands on the Air (IOTA) program.
The raffle was then drawn with a number of great prizes given away.
All in attendance then took the time out for a group photograph.
A home brew competition was held. Below are some of the entries.
A number of presentations then took place, with trophies and other goodies being presented. The Riverland Radio Group kindly gave Marija a bottle of wine, a RRG mug, and some coated almonds for her assistance in taking photographs at the event. I was also given the same for my continued promotion and attendance of the event and my involvement in the VK5 Parks Award. It was greatly appreciated and certainly came as a pleasant surprise.
Later that evening, a number of us attended dinner at the Mallee Fowl Restuarant.
