The VK Shires Award was previously known as the Worked All VK Shires Award and was administered by the Oceania Amateur Radio DX Group Incorporated.
The Award was also previously administered by the Blue Mountains Amateur Radio Club, and then Bill VK4FW.
This award was open to any licenced amateur who makes a contact with a minimum of 75 different shires.
There is also a VK Shires Contest.
