Last night (morning) conditions into Africa on the short path on 20m were terrific.
I was working SP Europe, but then ZS6GMH called me with a magnificent strong signal, and he was followed by numerous other African stations (from South Africa, Swaziland, & Namibia).
Many were just running 100 watts or less and dipoles.
It was worth staying up late. Lots of fun and always great to work the mysterious country of Africa.
Stations worked were:- George ZS6GMH; Vessy ZS1VV; Tom ZS2EC; Lyle ZS1UOK; Rendall ZS4RC; Nico 3DA0NJ; Kevin ZS6KVN; Glen ZS6CX; Lukas ZS6LH; Russell V51RJ; Nigel ZR6NGB; John ZS5GB; Jaques ZS6JV; & Roger ZS6CAM.
