WILLIAM COLMAN

William Colman was born on the 24th day of September 1812, at Norfolk, England.  His parents were Robert Colman and Ann Colman nee Mills.  (ancestry 2016)

On the 17th day of April 1856, he married Clarissa Ann Carter at Strathalbyn, South Australia (ancestry 2016)

William was the Mayor of Strathalbyn from 1872 to 1874.

William was a keen sportsman, including cricket and rifle shooting.

William died on the 19th day of January 1882, aged 69 years.
