During May 2016 I travelled to Norfolk Island for 7 days for a holiday with my wife Marija, and to attend the Wireless Institute of Australia (WIA) Annual General Meeting.
I was able to get on air 6 times and operated as VK9PAS and made a little over 600 contacts into:
The whole of Norfolk Island is designated as VKFF-0394 for the World Wide Flora Fauna (WWFF) program. Both Marija and I also operated from Mount Bates VK9/ NO-001 for the Summits on the Air (SOTA) program.
QSL for VK9PAS Norfolk Island is either Direct, Bureau, eQSL or LOTW.

To qualify for the WIA Norfolk Island Award, those on Norfolk Island needed to log 20 other stations on Norfolk Island (local contacts), while all other operators were required to log 10 contacts on Norfolk Island. Each qualifying station could be worked once only per band.
All QSOs for this award needed to have been made between 21st May 2016 - 3rd June 2016 (UTC) to qualify.
