MY TOWERS.
THIS PAGE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION DUE TO MY MOVE TO A NEW QTH.
Last Monday (27th July 2020) I attended at Glenelg and collected a 2 stage tower, a Hy Gain TH3 MK3 Thunderbird antenna, and a rotator.
The tower needs some work, as does the rotator, but I will eventually erect it here and put something on the top of it.
Not sure what I am going to do with the yagi at this stage, as I already have a Tet Emtron TE-53 yagi which will go on the top of another tower here at the new QTH at Ashbourne.
Below are some photos of the tower on the back of the truck, the tower prior to dismantling, and the TH3 MK3 yagi which was on top of the tower.

Purchase.
I purchased my tower for $100.00 in mid 2011.
Respray.
The tower required quite a bit of work as it was in pretty average condition. I sanded back the frame and resprayed the tower.
Erection of the tower.
Installation of the tower commenced in November 2011.
Many thanks go out to Rex VK5FRCP and Dave VK3VCE for their tremendous help.
First up was digging the hole for the tilt over section.

First up was digging the hole for the tilt over section.
Next with the help of Dave VK3VCE we attached the tower to the tilt over section of the tower, and then put together the Hy Gain TH3jr antenna and the Rippletech rotary dipole.
Here are some photos of the tilt over section of the tower, the base & the winch.
