GERTRUDE & ARTHUR CONNOLLY
On the 24th day of August 1923, Emily Rosetta Connolly drowned her two children in the Angas River: Gertrude Emily, aged 3, and Arthur Lawrence, aged 1 year and 11 months.
Emily was several months pregnant at the time. She attempted to drown herself in the river after drowning the children.

Connolly was certified insane and committed to the Parkside Mental Hospital.
