ARTHUR THOMAS CUSHEN

Arthur Thomas Cushen was born on the 24th day of January 1920 at Bluff, near Invercargill, New Zealand. His parents were Thomas James Richards Cushen and Maria Cushen nee Skipworth.

Arthur married Ralda Maude Macdonald.

In his time, Arthur was the world's best-known shortwave listener and DXer.  His autobiography was called 'the world in my ears.'

Arthur died on the 4th day of July 1997, aged 77 years.
