2026 VK SUMMIT - ALBURY N.S.W.
The 2026 VK Summit was held in Albury, N.S.W. on Saturday, 2nd and Sunday, 3rd May 2026, at the Commercial Club. The event organiser was the Albury Wodonga Amateur Radio Club.
VK Summit was held in conjunction with the Annual General Meeting of the Wireless Institute of Australia (WIA).
VKFF Team members Paul VK5PAS, Chris VK5FR, Malcolm VK3OAK, Garrick VK3GJG, & Peter VK3PWG attended the event.
Over the weekend, a WWFF display table was manned, attracting a significant amount of attention.
VK5PAS, VK5FR, & VK3GJG delivered a short presentation on Sunday about the WWFF program.
As an official ARRL DXCC card checker, Paul VK5PAS also checked QSL cards and identification for the Logbook Of The World registration process.
Several VKFF parks were activated by VKFF Team members during their journey to and from the event.
VK Summit included a Saturday evening dinner, at which the guest speaker was Adrian KO8SCA, Co-leader of the 3Y0K Bouvet Island DXpedition team. There was also a link-up with the local Scout group and the International Space Station.
